14 Celebs Ranked By Their Pokémon Go Obsession

Some have no chill, while others are totally over it

Pokémon Go has quickly become a social gaming phenomenon. The location-based game app allows you to go out into the real world to catch Pokémon — there could literally be a Pikachu in your bedroom right now and you'd be able to find it through your phone's GPS and camera functions.

The beloved franchise that first launched in the late ’90s is now allowing us (and younger generations) to experience a new and improved version of Pokémon, and the world has legit lost all chill over it. You can't scroll through social media without seeing relatable memes or screenshots of what your friends have caught.

And famous people are not excluded from the Pokémon hype. They're running all over their neighborhoods and trying to catch them all, too. On a scale of 1 (most-hyped) to 14 (showing no love to the revived game), here are the celebs getting in on Pokémon Go.

John Mayer

JM had no qualms about dishing out some cash for PokéCoins.

Wiz Khalifa

Poké Balls > privacy.

Soulja Boy

Soulja Boy is actually a huge Pokémon fan and has been tweeting about it for, like, ever.

Dylan Sprouse

Worth the risk? Yes.

Demi Lovato

We get it, girl.

Steve Aoki

Frustrated but determined, as we all are.

Joe Jonas

A Pokémon-fueled trip/meet-up sounds like a fabulous idea.

All Time Low

"Weedles and a Kakuna. Fear me," ATL's lead singer Alex Gaskarth wrote on Twitter.

Mark Hoppus

Post-show Pokémon is a must.

Kevin Jonas

Kevin Jonas meme'd himself during the Pokémon Go hype and it couldn't be more relatable.

Halsey

This is the kind of support players need.

JoJo

JoJo is not playing but is equally as supportive as Halsey and it is wildly appreciated.

Chrissy Teigen

Sadly, she's done.

Debby Ryan

Give it another chance, Debby!
