As we’ve pointed out before, Anna Kendrick is pretty much the best and realest person on Twitter. Her funny, dry sense of humor makes her seem like a relatable pal, someone you’d want to grab a drink with while you bask in the glow of her snark.

And you know what? She wouldn’t have it any other way -- because that means she doesn’t have to take a page from the Taylor Swift School of Celeb Perfectionism.

In an new interview with Net-A-Poter’s The Edit, Kendrick admitted she doesn’t mind her reputation as a sarcastic, unfiltered pistol.

"I could play Madame Bovary and I'd still end up being dry and cynical," she said. "There are times where someone will be like, ‘Do that thing! You know, do your thing!’ I get mildly annoyed by that. But on a greater scale, I'm lucky that's [my] reputation; when I'm snarky with people, they know that's just how I communicate.”

Moreover, she’s relieved that people understand her sense of humor because it means she doesn’t face pressure to be an infallible BFF for her fans (unlike, say, T. Swift).

"I'd be terrible at being like Taylor Swift, the perfect Miss America version of interacting with fans and making sure they have a good experience," Kendrick said. "I mean, I don't want people to meet me and have it fuck up their day, but I'm glad I can say something weird to them and they know that's just me.”
