Sam From 'iCarly' Would Probably Hate Jennette McCurdy’s Childhood Note About Friendship

It's hilariously mushy and narcissistic

Jennette McCurdy has a huge social media following, with over 5 million fans on Instagram and 6 million on Twitter. Thanks to a note McCurdy wrote way back when, it looks like 6-year-old her had that many friends, too. Well, almost.

On Tuesday (June 21), the iCarly star shared a hilarious note she wrote as a kid, basically illuminating that she was more popular than Regina George — though much nicer.

"A note from my ‘very popular' 6 year old self... BAHAHAH," McCurdy captioned. Yeah, I think that's an understatement.

The note reads (as best I can make out):

I love all my friends. My best friends are Madison and Leah and last but not least Tiffiny. They are the nicest people in the world. I have more friends such as Kimi, Katie, Lauren, Lauren, Alex, Alex, Alena, Nicole, Caitlen, Nicole, Trenton, Ryan Seacrest, Lisa Foxx, (Foxx), and those are a lot less then 10% of all of my friends. I love them all and they are very kind to me.

One of these names is not like the other. Ryan Seacrest, eh? If you say so, girl.

Something tells me Sam Puckett would loathe this sweet, mushy note, since she's such an anti-people person. She's got Carly, Freddie, Spencer, and Gibby — and even that's pushing it sometimes.
