Christina Aguilera’s New Song Demands ‘Change’ After The Mass Shooting In Orlando

Proceeds from the single will go to victims and their families

Less than a week after a shooting at a gay club in Orlando left 49 patrons dead and as many wounded, Christina Aguilera has released a new song demanding an end to discriminatory violence.

“Change” calls for acceptance of all people, regardless of their race, sexuality, or gender. Proceeds from sales of the song will go to the National Compassion Fund, which distributes funds directly to victims of crime.

"The horrific tragedy that occurred in Orlando continues to weigh heavily on my mind,” Aguilera wrote on her website. "I am sending so much love and so many prayers to the victims and their families. Like so many, I want to help be part of the change this world needs to make it a beautiful inclusive place where humanity can love each other freely and passionately."
