Let Jake Gyllenhaal Serenade You With ‘A Whole New World’

'Aladdin' will never be the same

The 70th Annual Tony Awards had plenty of hilarious moments, from Donald Trump "starring" in The Book of Moron to host James Corden telling the Hamilton cast, "Just you wait," when they inched closer to the Tony award he was holding.

But perhaps one of the best moments of the show occurred during a commercial break, which thankfully An Act of God star Sean Hayes shared on Facebook.

According to Hayes, Corden held a "commercial karaoke" comprised of Broadway songs (duh) and wanted volunteers to perform. Hayes and his new duet partner, Jake Gyllenhaal — who starred in the Broadway show Constellations in 2015 — jumped up and started serenading the audience with "A Whole New World" from Aladdin. Soon after, Corden joined in, and what resulted is true Broadway magic.
