Troy Ave Appears To Fire Gun In Graphic Concert Shooting Video

One man dead and three injured during Wednesday's T.I. concert

UPDATE (5/26/16, 7:35 p.m. ET): The official Twitter account for the NYPD is reporting that Troy Ave has been charged with attempted murder, in addition to criminal weapons possession.

The original story appears below.

Troy Ave has reportedly been charged with reckless endangerment and illegal weapons possession. This comes as newly released surveillance video appears to show the 30-year-old firing shots at a T.I. concert at Manhattan's Irving Plaza.

According to the New York Daily News, the Brooklyn rapper was arrested Thursday (May 26). The incident, which occurred shortly after 10 p.m. last night, left one dead and three injured, including Troy, who reportedly accidentally shot himself in the leg. The News reports that there have not yet been any arrests regarding the death of Ronald "Banga" McPhatter, who was a friend of Troy's.

Police are reportedly awaiting the results of a ballistics test.

The paper also reported that the incident stemmed from an issue Troy and his camp had with Maino -- who was performing at the time -- and his camp. Maino, however, disputed that suggestion, posting a lengthy caption on Instagram about his and Troy's longstanding relationship.

"For the last 5 years Troy Ave, his team and I have had a great working relationship," he wrote. "Not only have we performed and done several songs together but we've had many personal conversations about life our goals and efforts as musicians. Despite media reports to the contrary, there are No 'ongoing beefs' or 'entourage issues.' It always has been and always will be good relations between myself AND MY TEAM and @TroyAve @Hovain @YoungLitoBsB and the BSB crew. Our deepest sympathies again to family of Ronald McPhatter and a speedy recovery to Troy Ave."

MTV News will continue to update the story as more information becomes available.
