6 Burning Hot Questions We Have For The New Paris Hilton Documentary
The Paris Hilton documentary you were waiting for is finally on its way... and it’s gonna be hot.
9.14 Pictures and XYZ Films announced the project at Cannes Film Festival on Wednesday, billing it as an “unflinching, authorized documentary” co-produced by the 35-year-old socialite.
“Paris Hilton is a modern day Marilyn Monroe -- beautiful, iconized, world famous, shaped by mass media and misunderstood,” directs Don Argott and Sheena Joyce told The Hollywood Reporter. “We are thrilled to work with Paris to explore her complicated relationship with the public, the press and the politics that shape our perception of a modern celebrity.”
That’s a lot of ground to cover... mostly because no one’s exactly sure which thing made Hilton famous in the first place. Was it her reality show stardom? Her sex tape, One Night in Paris? Her tendency to go commando at high-profile clubs? Or was it simply her famous family name and wealth? Hopefully, the upcoming doc will get to the bottom of that mystery, as well as these six other burning questions:
What exactly makes her DJ sets so bankable?
Shooting on Hilton’s new doc starts this summer in Ibiza, the same tropical, party-centric locale where she’s had a DJ residency in recent years. It’s been reported that she earns up to $347,000 per hour for her DJ expertise, which begs a lot of questions about what exactly makes her sets so special and whether they’re actually worth that much. We need details.
Does she still love “Stars Are Blind” as much as the rest of us?
Ten years later, this song is still a jam. Sorry, not sorry.
Does she still say “that’s hot?”
Either it’s permanently seared into her brain after saying it for so many years, or she’s reached her lifetime quota of hotness.
What’s her relationship to the Kardashians nowadays?
Does she still think she’s semi-responsible for their fame, or is she just salty that they eclipsed her popularity? Also, what was it like to boss Kim around as an assistant?
What was her fave dimwitted one-liner on The Simple Life?
Honestly, there are so many to choose from.
Can she please just give an entire, all-encompassing account of her guest appearance on The O.C.?
Is she familiar with the works of Thomas Pynchon??
