Here's A Flamethrower That Shoots A Bigger Flame Than That Guitar In 'Mad Max: Fury Road'

The 50-foot flames were caught in super slow motion, too

Reckless abandon: We all crave it from time to time. That must be why the following video is getting so much attention -- it calls to mind that iconic guitar player in Mad Max: Fury Road with spectacularly badass results.

YouTube channel Slow Mo Guys usually stick to the tame, releasing slo-mo videos of a water balloon popping and paint moving on a speaker, but after they activated a mouse trap on one of their tongues in slo-mo, all bets were off.

That's where this giant flamethrower comes in. 🔥🔥🔥

After pouring what seems like gallons of diesel fuel into a canister provided by flamethrower manufacturer X Matter (yes, a flamethrower manufacturer exists, and no, I'm not linking you to their site), partners Daniel Gruchy and Gavin Free captured video of the near-50-foot flames coming out of the flamethrower in such slow motion, it looks computer generated.

"If you think that looked like the most fun you'd ever have in your life, then you're wrong," flamethrowing artiste Gruchy said. "It's more fun than that."

We'll take your word for it.

I hope this goes without saying, but don't try this at home.
