Chances are you're with it enough to race for the spam button with rolled eyes every time Prince Whatshisface writes some jumbled e-mail to you about that $2.5 million he needs your help sneaking into the States, but believe it or not, there are people who actually fall for that crap. People who haven't quite adjusted to present day society and the need to actively protect one's rear end bank accounts from all those who'd happily take advantage if given even an inch of credibility.

A generation ago, it was Ed McMahon and his fancy balloon posse which had people by the greedy bits, just hoping above all hope that they'd be the next one to get that fateful knock at the door if they just ordered one more year's worth of "Field & Stream."

Along those lines, here have the first trailer for "Nebraska," the newest effort from Alexander Payne of "Sideways" and "The Descendants" acclaim, and in it, our poor protagonist (Will Forte) decides to play along when his aging dad (Bruce Dern) becomes convinced that a sweepstakes letter promising him a million smackeroos is the real deal. After all, what's the harm in an old guy chasing down a pot 'o gold across four states, right? Right?!

Wrong, dude. Not only does poppy dearest drag the whole town into his wild delusions — resulting in everyone suddenly expecting a piece of that money pie — but he also doesn't seem interested in learning any lessons from this little road trip of his, whatever the outcome.

Is the money really there for him to just pick up at his leisure? Probably not. But are there troubles awaiting him at the end of the road? Oh, you betcha.

"Nebraska," which was shot in all black and white, was nominated for the Palme d'Or at this year's Cannes Film Festival, and while the film did not pick up that prize, its lead Bruce Dern did nab the win for Best Actor for his looney little performance.

Forte, meanwhile, whom you're used to seeing on "Saturday Night Live" doing things like this ...

... appears to throw down a nice little dramatic performance as well as the hapless son who sort of ropes himself into this terrible scheme for some reason. This is not your typical father-son bonding experience, we know that much.

In addition to the vid, the first poster for the film was also released today, featuring the wild coif stylings of the one and only Mr. Dern.

Bob Odenkirk, June Squibb and Stacy Keach also star in the pic, which hits theaters on Nov. 15.
