Celebrities have to be careful when giving interviews. God forbid you accidentally tell the world some earth-shattering news on a talk show or while greeting your constituency.

But unlike Jessica Simpson's views on wieners, this slip-up is actually something worth buzzing about.

Last weekend, MTV Geek's Aaron Sagers sat down with comic book legend Stan Lee at the Wizard World Comic-Con NYC Experience to chat about everything from that controversial "Man of Steel" ending to Lee's newest aromatic project (love ya Stan, but we're still scratching our heads on this one).

However, Lee revealed more than just his thoughts on what a superhero should smell like. When asked about the possibility of a Silver Surfer movie, he spilled that Marvel is developing new some projects featuring classic, fan-favorite characters.

Here are exclusive deets from The Man himself:

"Back at Marvel, they are frantically looking for what is the next one they're going to do," he said. "There is no way they won't eventually do a Silver Surfer movie. It may not be for a few years because they're thinking and working on Doctor Strange, Black Panther, Ant-Man, Guardians of the Galaxy. Everything we have. And the fans seem to want all of them."

Hmm… we know that Lee gets an exec prod credit (and awesome cameos) in all of Marvel's films, but we don't think the studio wanted to let this slip just yet. Could this have something to do with those Marvel-Vin Diesel meetings we've been reading about?

With San Diego Comic-Con right around the corner, we wouldn't be surprised if Marvel makes some big announcements at the geek-friendly convention come July 18. Of course, NextMovie will be in on the action so don't forget to stay tuned for exclusive interviews and news coverage all weekend long!
