'Transformers 4' Taps Kelsey Grammer as a Baddie

Kelsey Grammer wants to show the world that he's still so much more than just some reality TV tart and rag mag headline-maker. In fact, he's totes ready to become the bad guy ... even outside of the "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" circle.

Quick, everyone, hide your daughters! Just kidding ... but kinda not.

The "Boss" star is the latest to join in on Michael Bay's first post-Shia LaBeouf robot invasion spectacle "Transformers 4."

Grammer comes into the fold as villainous human named Harold Attinger, a character described oh-so-eloquently as some "counter intelligence guy" per Deadline.

Between this and his part opposite Sylvester Stallone in "Reach Me," Grammer might just be able to reemerge as a tough guy after all.

Of course, that doesn't solve all his problems. There's still this ...

Still, as the good Dr. Frasier Crane might observe, it's progress!

Meanwhile, Michael Bay's "Pain & Gain" muscle man Mark Wahlberg leads the charge on movie four, supported by Jack Reynor, Nicola Peltz, Stanley Tucci and, um, whoever wins that Chinese reality competition show thingymabop.

"Transformers 4" will invade your local cinema on June 27, 2014.
