Carrie Fisher Wants to Eat Earth Before Heading into Space

It's been thirty-plus years since Carrie Fisher did that abtacular bikini scene for "Star Wars: Episode VI - Return of the Jedi," so it's understandable that for "Episode VII" she'd have a very different approach to the Princess Leia diet in mind. Only, instead of using low impact cardio machines or high protein snacking or whatever it is the kids are doing these days, Fisher's pretty much planning to eat like she's Jabba the Hutt until the studio forces her to shape up. Nom nom nom.

Fisher, whose rep said last month that she was juuuust kidding (read: still negotiating how many stacks of cash she'd get) about being signed on for Disney's new "Star Wars" installment, appeared at the Calgary Comic Expo on Saturday and said, "I like being bought by Disney because they never wanted to buy me before ... I'm glad they are doing a new movie because they are sending a trainer to my house so I can get in really good shape. So, I'm really eating a lot of sugar in advance, as you can see. By the time I really get down to it, I will have eaten everything."

The most delicious part about this is her intrinsic House of Mouse snark, of course, but here's an appropriate bit of meme fare for this delectable situation.

"Star Wars: Episode VII" isn't due in cinemas 'til summer 2015, so until then ... bon appetit!
