Singer and actress Natina Reed, who rose to stardom as a member of the all-girl group Blaque and as one of the stars of the hit film "Bring It On," has died according to The Hollywood Reporter.

She was 32.

According to reports, Reed was apparently crossing a busy Atlanta street late Friday night when she was struck by a car. Atlanta police later issued a statement saying that the driver "was determined to be not at fault and there are no charges pending." Reed was rushed to the hospital, where she was declared dead.

As a member of Blaque, Reed landed two top ten hits on the Billboard Hot 100 singles charts in the late 90's, "808" and "Bring It All to Me," before turning to film as Jenelope in the 2000 Kirsten Dunst cheerleader film "Bring It On." Despite the film's success, Reed chose not to pursue a career in acting, instead returning to R&B music. Following a long hiatus, Blaque reunited earlier this summer and announced plans to resume touring and recording.

"We are devastated by the loss of our group member, sister and friend Natina Reed," fellow Blaque members Brandi Williams and Shamari Fears-Devoe said in a joint statement. "Because of the enormous support of Blaque fans and our love for each another, Blaque officially reunited this fall and we were in the process of working on a new album and a reality show. Natina continuously embodied the pioneering spirit of Blaque and her undeniable creativity touched the hearts of fans everywhere. Natina was a mother, sister, accomplished songwriter, artist and friend. We ask for your prayers at this time for Natina's family. She will forever be missed and her global influence eternally felt. We thank God for the experiences we shared."

Reed is survived by a ten-year-old son.
