Emma Watson is seeking shelter from the storm.

The "Harry Potter" star is preparing for a flood of Biblical proportions as she's in talks to board "Noah," according to Deadline.

Emma would be playing the role of Ila, a young woman who develops a close relationship with Noah's son, Shem (Douglas Booth). If Emma accepts the role, she'll be reuniting with her "Perks of Being a Wallflower" co-star, Logan Lerman, who's playing Noah's older son, Ham.

Russell Crowe is playing the title role, the man who was "righteous in his generation" and chosen by God to build an Ark that would save a remnant of life as a great Flood wiped out the wickedness of humankind. The hunt is still on the right actor to play Noah's wife (Crowe's "A Beautiful Mind" co-star, Jennifer Connelly, has been mentioned) and his nemesis (a role previously circled by Liam Neeson).

Emma Watson is proving to be the most prolific "Potter" star upon last summer's conclusion of the long-running fantasy franchise. She's currently wrapping up her lead role in Sofia Coppola's "The Bling Ring," is set to play the female lead in "Your Voice in My Head" and will play a funhouse-mirror version of herself in "The End of the World." Emma will next be seen in "The Perks of Being a Wallflower," opening Sept. 21.

Darren Aronofsky is building himself quite the cast for "Noah." We're looking forward to seeing how it continues to shape itself as it moves toward commencing with production in the fall.
