Justin Long Could Drink/Write/Produce 'A Case of You'

Justin Long has often melted our hearts as that puppy-eyed ageless boy actor, and now he's ready to do it again.

The star's latest project shows he's more than just a pretty face with a mushroom cut; he's a writer, producer, and most importantly, a Joni Mitchell fan, all of which he'll bring together for "A Case of You."

Variety reports that the indie will star Long and his brother, Christian, who is also co-writing the script, "Game of Thrones" star Peter Dinklage, Evan Rachel Wood, Keir O'Donnell and Busy Phillips.

The Kat Coiro-helmed project tells the story of a young man who sets up online profile that overstates his accomplishments, only to find his falsified lifestyle is hard to maintain when he meets a girl he's interested in.

Long most recently lent his voice to the third installment of the "Alvin and the Chipmunks" franchise, so we're happy to see him back in human form with what we're willing to wager is another cute, romantic comedy in which Long reminds us why we all went out and bought Macs in the first place.

"A Case of You" is scheduled to hit theaters in 2013.
