Prepare To Watch 'Orange Is The New Black' For The Rest Of Eternity

The Netflix drama was just renewed for multiple seasons.

The ladies of Litchfield aren't getting out anytime soon -- praise Norma!

Netflix announced Friday that Orange Is the New Black has been renewed for three more seasons. The news comes in advance of the show's Season 4 debut on June 17. Series creator and showrunner Jenji Kohan will continue at the helm for Seasons 5, 6, and 7.

OITNB is like a warm hug -- familiar, comforting, but oh-so-brief. However, with the guarantee of three additional seasons, we won't have to wait very long for another loving embrace. Plus, it means we get three more years of this, a.k.a the best friendship on television:

"Three more years! Not quite a political term, but still plenty of time to do some interesting things. In some cultures, 'May you lead an interesting life,' is a curse, but I don’t live in those cultures," Kohan said in a statement. "Here's to keeping it interesting. Thanks, Netflix! Both thanks and you’re welcome Lionsgate! And kudos and gratitude to the stellar cast and crew and writers and producers and editors and musicians and mixers and shleppers... with whom I have the pride and honor of crafting this show. Three more years! Three more years!"

Netflix notes the future seasons will premiere in "future years," but given its yearly track record, we can likely expect OITNB's delightfully heartbreaking joyride to rage on until 2019.
