One of the most consistently awful parts of being a celebrity has got to be the paparazzi doing anything they can to take intrusive photos of your most personal moments -- flattering or not. This goes double for pregnant lady celebrities, who are all but forced to share what should probably be a pretty private experience (pregnancy) with all of Planet Earth.

Anne Hathaway has been famous for over a decade, so she definitely knew what she was dealing with when she posted a bikini picture of herself -- baby bump and all -- on Instagram Sunday night (January 3), to get ahead of the photographers interrupting her beach vacation.

"Happy 2016 to my beautiful Instafriends!," Hathaway wrote. "So, posting a bikini pic is a little out of character for me, but just now while I was at the beach I noticed I was being photographed. I figure if this kind of photo is going to be out in the world it should at least be an image that makes me happy (and be one that was taken with my consent. And with a filter :)"

Good for you, Anne Hathway. I'm sorry you have to live in a world that obsesses over your pregnant bikini body while also over-scrutinizing every dorky thing you do, but happy that you look healthy and at peace.
