2016 is off to a fantastic start for "Pitch Perfect" stars Anna Camp and Skylar Astin. On Saturday (Jan. 2), Astin popped the question to his long-time girlfriend.

"I asked. She said yes!!!," Astin proudly proclaimed on Instagram. The 28-year-old actor also added some heart emojis to his caption, for good measure.

Camp shared the same adorable photo on her own Instagram, writing the caption, "He asked. I said YES!!!!" She included several heart emojis of her own, because duh.

The "Pitch Perfect" stars have been dating for a couple of years and met thanks to good timing. Camp told Glamour back in August 2014, "We were friends first and just hit it off. He’s just so great, and he’s a Libra too. We didn’t really have a scene together, but he’s just such a fun guy. He’s great."

Camp admitted she was 31 years old — five years his senior — when they went on their first date, but age really is just a number. "He's literally my best friend."

Although specifics surrounding the proposal and eventual wedding haven't yet been revealed, we do know the two lovebirds were celebrating the new year on the Hawaiian island of Kauai. Camp shared a pic of them playing mini golf, stating, "Today we hit a hole in one! Happy new year!!!" A happy new year, indeed.

It's no surprise these two are going to tie the knot in the near future. Let's take a look back at some of their cutest moments.

The two shared a sweet smooch a few days after Thanksgiving.

Camp captioned this, "To be loved by someone you love is life?never regret, always grow, love unconditionally, listen to your heart ?."

And a day later, Astin uploaded his own precious kiss pic.

"This, this, and only this. ?✨?," wrote Astin.

Their joint birthday cake was all kinds of red velvety goodness.

Astin was born Sept. 23, while Camp was born Sept. 27, albeit in different years.

The couple soaked up the last rays of summer by chillaxing in donut tubes.

Astin shared this ~romantic~ pic that looks like something out of an '80s photoshoot.

"Tomorrow night I travel the skies, With little sleep and tired eyes, To a little town in Tennessee, Where my sweet southern darling waits for me," Astin captioned. D'AWWW.

Camp and Astin looked fly as hell at Madame Zingara in July.

Side note: Astin can really pull off the sailor look, just sayin'.

But perhaps their sweetest moment is when they adopted Rocky the puggle together.

"They say that owners start to look like their pups, can you see the resemblance? #Rockythepuggle definitely feels like our kid!," admitted Astin. Both his and Camp's Instagrams are filled with charming pics of Rocky. The pup and his "daddy" even wished Camp a Happy Mother's Day.
