Lupe Fiasco Announces Plans For 2016, Including 3 New Albums

Lupe also announces a tour.

Lupe Fiasco has major plans for 2016.

On Sunday (Dec. 20) the MC opened up about his plans for next year. In a tweet, the Food & Liquor spitter confirmed plans to unleash 3 new albums in 2016, and he even confirmed what the first project will be titled.

Lu isn't taking questions, but fans are already amped about the first confirmed project, Drogas.

Beyond that, Fiasco gave listeners another reason to rejoice. Apparently, his "Murals Jr." cut is set to appear on that album.

"Murals" was one of the most acclaimed tracks off Fiasco's latest project, this year's Tetsuo & Youth.

News regarding Lupe's next three albums comes after Fiasco announced that The Cool 2 is set for a 2017 release.

Lupe won't have too much time to craft these albums in the next two months, though. On Jan. 13, he's set to embark on a tour that's scheduled to run through Feb. 13. Tour dates can be found here. For more on the MC's plans for new music, check out our recent interview with him below.
