It sure was a great year for true, undying love on television, huh?

Felicity and Oliver got engaged on "Arrow!" And then Felicity got shot by Damien Dahrk in the midseason finale. Glenn and Maggie got pregnant on "The Walking Dead!" And then Glenn almost got eaten, and their town torn apart by zombies.

...Alright, so maybe it was only a so-so year for love on television, but we're still going to celebrate the most swoon-worthy couples on TV this year, by ranking them based on how healthy and hashtag-goals their relationships were in 2015. (In other words, sorry, Olicity -- we love you, but the whole "Oliver lying about having a son" thing knocked you down a few spots on the list.)

Mindy Lahiri and Danny Castellano, "The Mindy Project"

A year ago, Mindy (Mindy Kaling) and Danny (Chris Messina) would have been much higher up on this list. But Season 4 of "Mindy" -- which just moved to Hulu, ICYMI -- has boldly explored the fact that she show's OTP might not be so OT after all. Danny has been manipulative and controlling towards Mindy ever since the arrival of their adorable baby Leo, since the Italian Stallion has always believed that mothers should stay at home. It's a painful, complicated, and quite serious issue for this couple whom we love so much, but we're glad to see Mindy finally facing it head on. -- Shaunna Murphy

Jane Villanueva and Rafael Solano, "Jane the Virgin"

After a few minor speed bumps (like Mateo’s crazy fat inheritance), Jane (Gina Rodriguez) and Rafael (Justin Baldoni) successfully figured out the whole co-parenting thing this season, and it was really great to see. Jane not only trusted Rafael with the responsibility of taking care of Mateo, but he rose to the occasion of being a dad. While they may not be 100 percent official — we can thank Rafael’s jealously for that one — they have way too much chemistry to not get a second chance. (Forget sparks — these two have fireworks!) That house with the white picket fence has their name all over it. --Crystal Bell

Regina Mills and Robin Hood, "Once Upon a Time"

On the plus side, Regina (Lana Parrilla) and Robin (Sean Maguire) have a very sweet, mature, and caring relationship. On the not-so-plus side, Robin has some of the most annoying baby mama drama in this entire realm. Still, we are true believers in the fact that these crazy kids will make it work. -- SM

Daenerys Targaryen and Daario Naharis, "Game of Thrones"

Do Dany (Emilia Clarke) and Daario (Michael Huisman) have more to them than their undeniable sexual chemistry, and their shared desire to be fair and just leaders? Only time will tell -- and there might not be a whole lot of time, given that they're on opposite ends of Essos as of the end of Season 5 -- but we can't help but root for these crazy kids, anyway. -- SM

Damon Salvatore and Elena Gilbert, "The Vampire Diaries"

It's too bad Elena (Nina Dobrev) had to go to sleep for a lifetime -- Bonnie's lifetime, to be exact -- because Damon (Ian Somerhalder) and Elena were finally beginning to show signs of a normal, healthy relationship without supernatural complications. Sure, they had some lack-of-transparency issues when Elena decided she wanted to be human and Damon didn't know how he felt about it, but that's normal! Sometimes, love just ain't fair. -- SM

Connor Walsh and Oliver Hampton, "How to Get Away With Murder"

Connor (Jack Falahee) and Oliver (Conrad Ricamora) are a sweet, loving, and ultimately very sexy couple who have spent much of Season 2 improving how they communicate with each other and learning how to live as a pair. However, they lose a few points for the whole "Connor is lying about his involvement in multiple murders" thing. Can't win 'em all. -- SM

Barry Allen and Patty Spivot, "The Flash"

Sure, Barry (Grant Gustin) and Patty (Shantel VanSanten) have only been together for all of two seconds, but what makes them so likable as a couple is that they’re free to be their adorkable selves around each other. He appreciates her penchant for puns and she reads his detailed forensic reports for fun. And they both enjoy a good, awkwardly dorky laugh. Now. if only he would trust her enough to tell her that he’s The Flash. (We’re waiting, Barry.) -- CB

Philip and Elizabeth Jennings, "The Americans"

Philip (Matthew Rhys) and Elizabeth (Keri Russell) are a great couple, and arguably one of the most fascinating to watch on all of television. They were forced together into a partnership by the Russian government, and it took them like, 20 whole years to fall madly in love with each other -- because they needed to, really, in order to survive. It sucks that they are both murderers, but also, has anyone ever made pulling out your partner's rotting tooth look so romantic? Doubtful. -- SM

Wilson Fisk and Vanessa Marianna, "Daredevil"

Supervillains don’t tend to have very successful love lives – in fact, some of them become supervillains because they can’t “get the girl,” so to speak. But “Daredevil” did something truly special with Wilson Fisk (Vincent D'Onofrio) and Vanessa (Ayelet Zurer): it made you root for the bad guy and his beloved to get together, all without sacrificing any moral complexity between the two. Not only does Vanessa choose to enter into her relationship with Fisk willingly, but she also actively helps him become a better villain. That’s true love, right there. -- Victoria McNally

Oliver Queen and Felicity Smoak, "Arrow"

Isn’t it nice to see some people on “Arrow” finally being happy for once? (Well, up until very extremely recently, I guess). After years of will-they-won’t-they, Olicity is finally a real thing we can all celebrate, and every little moment of it so far has been adorable. Oliver (Stephen Amell) packing Felicity (Emily Bett-Rickards) lunch! Oliver trying to propose via soufflé! Felicity and Oliver having real and complex emotional fights and then working through them as a couple! Mark my words -- if it’s her in that flash-forward grave, the Internet will almost certainly riot. -- VM

Jessica Jones and Luke Cage, "Jessica Jones"

In a medium that hinges upon constantly changing up the personal lives of its characters, Jessica Jones and Luke Cage have become one of comics’ most stable couples. Looking at the way they’re portrayed in “Jessica Jones” you can kind of see why -- not that Krysten Ritter and Mike Colter’s exceptional chemistry doesn’t have a lot to do with it too, of course. They both come at one another with a kind of honesty and sexual agency that’s still very rare to see on film, and the way their relationship develops from there is incredibly riveting to watch. -- VM

Adam and Kristina Braverman, "Parenthood"

MOM. DAD. Whether they were opening a school for challenged youths, supporting each other’s dreams, or compromising their own for each other/their children, Adam (Peter Krause) and Kristina (Monica Potter) Braverman were the parents we always wish we had. And despite some Alexandra Daddario fueled shenanigans in season three, when the lights finally went out on the Braverman clan this year, this couple was stronger than ever. -- Alex Zalben

Jimmy Shive-Overly and Gretchen Cutler, "You're the Worst"

The development of Jimmy (Chris Geere) and Gretchen's (Aya Cash) relationship has not been easy, because both of them are kind of jerks, and Gretchen has been facing a nasty battle with clinical depression. But as the series finale clearly displayed, these two just get each other, and all of the nasty things they do to the rest of the world tend to fade away when they're saying "I love you" over a hangover cigarette. -- SM

Captain Hook and Emma Swan, "Once Upon a Time"

Hook (Colin O'Donoghue) and Emma’s (Jennifer Morrison) romance is something out of a Hans Christian Andersen fairy tale — dark, twisted and every bit alluring. This season on “Once Upon a Time” Hook paid the ultimate price for love: a one-way ticket to the Underworld. But Emma isn’t letting her True Love go without a fight, proving that Captain Swan can transcend anything, even death. -- CB

Stefan Salvatore and Caroline Forbes, "The Vampire Diaries"

Stefan (Paul Wesley) and Caroline’s (Candice King) romance on “The Vampire Diaries” was a long, slow burn, which made their first kiss even more special. Caroline is Stefan’s rock; she’s the only person he feels comfortable opening up to. And Stefan, for the most part, has been there for Caroline when she’s needed him most. (We’re letting the pregnancy announcement slide, Stefan.) We know this couple doesn’t have an easy road ahead of them, with Caroline carrying the future of the Gemini Coven in her womb and Stefan’s soul currently trapped in the Phoenix Stone, but if there’s one couple who deserves a happily ever after, it’s Steroline. -- CB

Leslie Knope and Ben Wyatt, "Parks and Recreation"

As equal partners in work, life and eating waffles, Ben (Adam Scott) and Leslie (Amy Poehler) are literally living every accomplished nerd’s dream -- a supportive, passionate, super dorky relationship that’s full of as many “Game of Thrones” roleplaying sessions as it is long nights of hard work and meticulous organizing. Their show may be over, but they will forever live on as the dual presidents (because let’s face it, Ben and Leslie would find a way to both be president, quite possibly at the same time) of our hearts. -- VM

Hanna Marin and Caleb Rivers, "Pretty Little Liars"

Hanna (Ashley Benson) and Caleb (Tyler Blackburn) were always the most functional couple on “Pretty Little Liars,” but this year, they really proved it. They teamed up to help get Hanna’s name off the hook for Mona’s murder, shared the perfect prom night kiss, and when he knew she was contemplating saying no to there dream school, Caleb offered to pay for Hanna’s college tuition in New York City. Honestly, Caleb Rivers is the reason why we have such high expectations. Other guys just can’t compete. -- CB

Maggie Greene and Glenn Rhee, "The Walking Dead"

In a show frequently revolving around whether the main characters can retain a shred of humanity, Glenn (Steven Yeun) and Maggie (Lauren Cohan) are the bright, shining heart that helps us retain a bit of hope. Though most of the time they get together, only to be immediately torn apart (thankfully not literally, though appearances occasionally indicate otherwise), these are the two we’re rooting for to restart civilization, once those pesky walkers bite the dust for good. -- AZ

Jamie and Claire Fraser, "Outlander"

Sing a song of a lass that is gone I most certainly will. Jamie (Sam Heughan) and Claire (Caitriona Balfe) are not only two wonderfully giving people on their own, they also make up one of the most refreshingly sexual -- and also, refreshingly adult -- relationships on television. There is a reason why this show was nominated for Golden Globes this year, and that reason is that, unlike many other relationships on TV, Claire and Jamie's doesn't need insane dramatic stakes like affairs to keep it complicated. Their passion comes from genuine, mature love, and we love them (and Starz!) for it. -- SM
