'Walking Dead' Just Cast An 'OITNB' Actress As Michonne

Samira Wiley will swing a katana in the next installment of "The Walking Dead" video game.

Don't worry, "Walking Dead" fans: Danai Gurira is still the katana-toting queen of the best zombie drama on television.

But per an announcement from Telltale Games, another awesome actress will have the chance to bring Michonne to life in an entirely new way: As the star of a special three-episode event that explores a piece of the character's untold backstory.

Samira Wiley, best known from her work on "Orange Is the New Black," will play Michonne in the game series, which will reveal what she was up to during the absence that spanned several issues of "The Walking Dead" comic book series (#126-139) -- and why she came back.

"The Walking Dead: Michonne" will premiere in February as a stand-alone three-episode series playable on a variety of platforms. For a taste of what's in store, get your first look at Samira unsheathing her katana in the trailer below.
