Though they have played mortal enemies Professor X and Magneto in the "X-Men" movies, actors Patrick Stewart and Ian McKellen are actually friends in real life. And they are such good friends, that McKellen is now going to officiate Stewart's upcoming wedding!

73-year-old McKellen recently broke the news on the UK's Jonathan Ross show:

"Yes, I'm going to marry Patrick. Well, no. How else do you put that? I am going to officiate at this wedding."

Stewart, 72, is set to marry 35-year-old jazz singer Sunny Ozell -- the two have apparently been an item since 2009.

As we reported earlier, McKellen and Stewart will be pairing up for a limited engagement on Broadway -- as well as once again portraying the world's most famous mutants in "X-Men: Days of Future Past!"
