Lupe Fiasco On Kid Cudi: 'If I See Him In The Streets, It’s Gettin’ Motherf--kin’ Ugly'

Lupe addressed his issues with Cudi in concert.

Lupe Fiasco and Kid Cudi started off the year with a war of words, and it looks like they're rounding it out that way, too.

During a concert over the weekend, Lupe took aim at Cudi via an a capella: "Make sure that you listen to every rhythm that I be spittin’, unconditionally written/ P.S.: To all my enemies, you are now forgiven/ Except Kid Cudi, 'cause that’s not my motherf--kin’ buddy/ If I see him in the streets, it’s gettin’ motherf--kin’ ugly,” he rapped.

But as Complex points out, Lu also served up a bit of a peace offering at that same Milwaukee show. "I'm gonna let that sh-t with f--kin' Cudi go," he said. "I want you to let go of something that's hanging over your head."

Clearly Lupe has some feelings about Cudi. What's not as clear is which came first during the night -- if he dissed Cudder and then changed his mind, or vice versa.

Tension between these two played out in public in January, when there were dissenting opinons over Kendrick Lamar's comments in the wake of the death of Mike Brown. "“What happened to [Mike Brown] should’ve never happened. Never," Kendrick said. "But when we don’t have respect for ourselves, how do we expect them to respect us? It starts from within. Don’t start with just a rally, don’t start from looting — it starts from within."

After a heated exchange between Lupe and Azealia Banks, Cudi tweeted, "Dear black artists, dont talk down on the black community like you are Gods gift to n---az everywhere,” he tweeted on Saturday."

Lu fired back: "Shut up...FOH @Kid Cudi," before adding, "How about you stop sh–ting on the people who really cared about your well being when this biz was ripping you apart. Fake ass @KidCudi.”

“My comments come from a place of love," Cudi responded. "Sorry if I offended anyone, except Poopé Fiasco. F--k that n---az feelings haha dweeb.”

Just a few weeks later, Lupe explained some of his frustrations on "Sway in the Morning." “I said, 'Yo, gimme this bitch ass n---a Cudi’s number, if I see him, I’m knockin’ him the f–k out,” Lupe continued. “'Cause I wanna get to the bottom of what the f--k you talkin’ about. Because it’s me. The same n---a you went in Complex and was like, one of the only n---as who reached out to me genuinely and had love for me was Lupe. But now I’m some f--kin’ thief? Now I can’t find you? Nobody knows where you are?

“Cudi, let’s settle this,” he said. “Talk to me, before I f--k you up.”

I guess they haven't talked yet. Hopefully they will soon, though.
