Erykah Badu And André 3000 Say 'Hello' With A New Song

And no, this has nothing to do with Adele.

Erykah Badu and André 3000 have collaborated for a NSFW new flow called "Hello," a part of her new mixtape that plays upon all things-cellular, But You Caint Use My Phone, which dropped on Thursday (Nov. 26).

Badu and André 3000 (aka André Benjamin) have a lot of history together -- having dated one another for several years in the mid-'90s and sharing a now-18-year-old son, Seven Sirius Benjamin.

André famously penned the hit Outkast single "Ms. Jackson" based on his relationship with Badu after their split.

Badu's "Hello" lyrics, as noted by Entertainment Weekly, pay homage to the Isley Brothers' "Hello It's Me."

Hello, it’s me, it’s me, baby

I thought about us for a long, long time

Maybe I think too much but something’s wrong

Something that said it doesn’t last too long, too long

Maybe I shouldn’t think of you as mine, mine, mine, mine, mine

Other tracks from Badu's new mixtape include "Hi," "Cel U Lar Device," "Phone Down" and "U Use to Call Me," "Mr. Telephone Man," "U Don't Have to Call," "What's Yo Phone Number," "Dial'Afreaq" and "I'll Call U Back."

The album is currently available for purchase on iTunes and streaming services.
