New 'Captain America' TV Spot Teases Superhero's Frozen Future

Captain AmericaOne thing that sets "Captain America: The First Avenger" apart from the rest of Marvel's recent and upcoming slate of movies is that, well... everyone already knows how it ends.

Since it's no secret that Captain America had a long list of adventures during World War II prior to joining the modern-era Avengers, the new television spot featuring an arctic team discovering the hero frozen in ice probably isn't too much of a spoiler.

Featuring the tagline "Every Legend... Every Hero... Has A Beginning," the new spot begins with the discovery of the hero — and his iconic shield — frozen in ice, then offers a montage of action scenes from the upcoming film.

With only a few weeks until the premiere of "Captain America: The First Avenger" in theaters, it's no surprise that the Marvel Marketing Machine is shifting into high gear. A new trailer and movie poster premiered online earlier this month, and we recently posted a series of reports from our own visit to the "Captain America" set in London.

"Captain America" hits theaters July 22.
