'X-Men: First Class' Adds 'Mad Men' Actress January Jones As Emma Frost

January Jones has been signed to play Emma Frost, according to Deadline. Back in June, Alice Eve was reportedly in negotiations for the part, which ultimately did not go through. Tahnya Tozzi briefly portrayed the young Emma Frost in "X-Men Origins: Wolverine."

Jones is perhaps best known for her role as Betty Francis — the former wife of Don Draper — on the AMC series "Mad Men." Jones has also appeared in "American Wedding," "Dirty Dancing: Havana Nights," "We Are Marshall" and "Love Actually."

Additionally, Deadline is reporting that director Matthew Vaughn has also added Zoe Kravitz as Angel, Bill Milner as a younger version of Magneto and Morgan Lily as "young Raven;" which as "X-Men" fans know, is the first name of Mystique, who will be portrayed in the film by Jennifer Lawrence.

It should be noted that Kravitz is an actress, which may mean that her "Angel" is based on the female version that was introduced during Grant Morrison's "New X-Men" run.

In addition to the most recently announced actors, "X-Men: First Class" will star James McAvoy as Charles Xavier, Michael Fassbender as Magneto, Nicholas Hoult as Beast, Caleb Landry Jones as Banshee, Lucas Till as Havoc, Edi Gathegi as Darwin, Rose Byrne as Moira MacTaggart and Jason Flemyng as Azazel.

Kevin Bacon has also been signed to portray the currently unrevealed villain while Oliver Platt has agreed to play the mysterious Man in Black.

Production of the film is expected to begin at the end of August, with "X-Men: First Class" set to storm into theaters on June 3, 2011.
