50 Cent And Rick Ross Are About To Have A Thanksgiving Showdown

Fif and Rozay are both giving us new music.

50 Cent and Rick Ross have been rivals for more than six years now and it doesn't look like that's about to change. Just this year, they traded shots on songs and social media. And now, they're about to have a Thanksgiving showdown.

But relax. This ain't about beefing. Nah, instead, they're about to deliver new music. Fif and Rozay are actually both planning to release mixtapes on the same day. 50’s The Kanan Tape is slated to drop Nov. 26. And Rick has recently announced that his Renzel Remixes project is also scheduled to arrive that same day, on Thanksgiving. Here's a taste of what you can expect from these two rap titans:

The Kanan Tape

Kanan, of course, is a nod to 50’s “Power” character. Last month, Fif announced that it will include 8 tracks. About a week ago, he promoted the tape by saying that he’s also "been working on ‘Power,' making sure season 3 is the best sh-t you have seen on TV.” Maybe that provides some insight into what we’ll be hearing on this project.

The soulful "Body Bags" is a sign of what we should expect:

Renzel Remixes

Renzel Remixes will drop before Rozay's next LP, Black Market (which we previewed last night, by the way). With remixes to Adele and now 2Pac, it looks like The Bawse has been inspired by musical greats without genre boundaries. Here's Ross' iteration of "Starin Thru My Rearview."
