We've been waiting for over a month to see the full range of official ads from Givenchy's Spring/Summer 2014 collection. We knew the campaign was to feature Erykah Badu and some stunning up-and-coming models, and even caught a teaser last month, but the images are here folks, and let's just say they were WELL worth the wait.
The portfolio boasts four fierce black-and-white photos, including Erykah's first epic solo shot. The egdy, patterned poncho could easily be overwhelming, but Miss Badu completely commands the look with a regal stance and unwavering eye contact. The other three B&W photos are equally strong. Asia Chow and Dominik's ads feature muted jackets and structured bags, while Maria Borges and Eboni Riley showcase sequins and bangles galore in their joint frame.

While the monochromatic editorials are stunning, we are most psyched about Erykah's new colorful image. The collection, as Riccardo Tisci has described, features a combination of African and Japanese influences, but we've gotta say this look is giving us major Abraham Lincoln vibes. It's not every day you see a stovepipe chapeau like that. Also, it provides the perfect segue to tip our own top hats to Givenchy for exclusively using models of color for this striking new campaign.
