“Supergirl” is hosting a mini “Glee” reunion (and a family affair!) of sorts by casting Blake Jenner, the real-life husband of star Melissa Benoist, in a multi-episode role.

TVLine reports Jenner will join the CBS series as Adam Foster, "a handsome stranger from Cat Grant's (Calista Flockhart) past whose arrival in National City tests Kara and Cat's relationship like never before.” Jenner’s character is also teased as a potential new love interest for Kara — which sounds like bad news for fans who shipped her with James (Mehcad Brooks) or Winn (Jeremy Jordan).

Jenner and Benoist met on the set of “Glee” in 2012, when they joined the fourth season as rookie New Directions after the O.G. crew shipped off to college. Onscreen, they played on-and-off love interests Marley and Ryder (spoiler alert: they didn’t end up together) but offscreen, their relationship blossomed. The couple announced their engagement in July 2013 and tied the knot this past spring.

Jenner is reportedly slated to make his “Supergirl” debut in early 2016 and appear in multiple episodes. No word yet on whether there will be a duet involved, but for old time’s sake, let’s revisit a classic Marley/Ryder number.
