DMX And Wife To Appear On VH1 Reality Show 'Couples Therapy'

Yonkers, New York rapper Earl “DMX” Simmons, fresh off a November appearance on Dr. Drew’s "Lifechangers" show--during which he revealed some chilling details about his troubled past--is jumping back in front of the cameras to film a new reality show with his better half. DMX and his wife of 12 years, Tashera Simmons, have agreed to appear on the upcoming VH1 reality series “Couples Therapy.”

The recently incarcerated rapper and his wife will be featured alongside other popular reality show figures such as Linda Hogan (ex-wife of wrestler Hulk Hogan) and Angelina Pivarnick of Jersey Shore fame. DMX and his wife have been separated for over a year.

Therapy is always a good thing,” DMX’s publicist Domenick Nati said in a statement. “Tashera has been there from the beginning and I know that she means a lot to Earl.”

“Couples Therapy,” created by the producers of “Celebrity Rehab With Dr. Drew,” will air for two months in the Spring of 2012.
