Wiz Khalifa's 'Black & Yellow' Banned By New York DJs

Wiz Khalifa's playful "Black And Yellow" anthem for the Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania Steelers football team has certainly worked. In addition to debuting his cut's "G-mix" video recently featuring verses from Snoop Dogg, Juicy J and T-Pain, the "Terrible Towel" enthusiast is set to perform the track on during the AFC Championship game on Sunday (January 23) where the Steelers will clash with the New York Jets.

In response — and playfully solidarity, of course — New York's Hot 97 radio DJ Funkmaster Flex and Mister Cee have banned the lanky MC's colorful song for the weekend.

"It's all love for Wiz Khalifa, but we can't let that song rock this weekend, not in the clubs," Mister Cee announced during his mid-day mix on Friday. "It's all about the Jets!"

Cee went in during his hour long set with classic Big Apple tracks like Frank Sinatra's "New York New York" and Jay-Z's "Empire State Of Mind" featuring another New Yorker Alicia Keys.

"Shout out to Rex Ryan," Cee said.

Elsewhere, Wiz also released his "That Good" video with greenery mentor, Snoop Dogg from the pair's upcoming "High School" film's soundtrack.

"We decided to go ahead and say, 'You know what? Let's do a movie and a soundtrack and just become, you know, bosom buddies and do what we do, 'cause we love what we do and we love each other and at the same time we know what the people want,' " Snoop said. "The people want to see the two generations come together where hip-hop ain't about old school and new school. It's just about good music and making good moves and putting something out there that's classic where people can respect it and say, 'Yeah, so now, this was some gangsta sh-- that really made hip-hop gradually grow to another level.' "
