As Ricky Gervais slung the jokes at actors like Angelina Jolie and Johnny Depp, MTV News spoke to rappers-cum-actors like Diddy and 50 Cent on the Golden Globes' red carpet.

"I just finished "The Set-Up" with myself, Bruce Willis and Ryan Phillipe," the rapper/ actor shared.

Fif, who performed in films like "13," "Twelve" and "Gun" in 2010, is looking to expand his acting skills beyond the drug dealer or hit man. As for the roles the G-Unit general is looking for, it's a toss up.

"Different, I don't want to put myself in a box, I did that with music," he said. "They look for content that has extreme aggression. What I offered on Get Rich Or Die Tryin' was all the dysfunctional behaviors I've seen in my entire life and I became the album to the general public."

Recently, 50 shook up the financial world by encouraging his Twitter followers to buy stock in H&H Imports. The entity is the parent company of TV Goods Inc., which has a stake in Sleek Audio and is distributing Fif's new line of headphones, Sleek by 50 Cent. Soon after, eyebrows raised about whether the Queens rapper had violated any ethical rules. But according to Jason Krywko, the chief operating officer of Sleek Audio, the company behind 50's headphone line, the MC is only guilty of being excited about a new business venture.

"For 50, this is like watching a baby grow," Krywko told MTV News by phone on January 14. "For nine months, he's been cultivating it, nurturing it, helping make sure everything's all right with it, supporting us. I guess that night that we were overwhelmed and swelled with pride," the 31-year old explained of their announcement of the headphones at CES Las Vegas. "I don't think there was any malice or [negative] intention behind it."
