On Friday (Oct. 30), Alanis Morissette's Jagged Little Pill celebrates the big 2-0. In honor of its June 13, 1995 release, the seven-time Grammy-winning artist dropped a special collector’s edition of her debut.
Speaking about the anniversary, Alanis said in a release that she's "super excited to share this music with a whole new generation of peeps, as well as people who have grown along with me over the last two decades."
That new generation of peeps includes MTV's very own Molly Tarlov, a huge fan who wanted to pay homage to the singer/songwriter's chart-topping catalog by recreating one of Alanis' most iconic music videos: "Ironic."
"Growing up I was obsessed with angsty female musicians like Meredith Brooks and Natalie Imbruglia," the "Awkward" star told MTV News before shooting the scene. "But Jagged Little Pill, by Alanis Morissette, was the first album I ever bought for myself."
In addition to "Ironic," the new four-disc collector's edition includes remastered audio of the original album, plus an entire disc of 10 unreleased demos from Alanis' archives.
