Rihanna Can't Stop Talking About Her Fear Of Childbirth
Rihanna is not really looking forward to birthing a child. We know this.
How do we know this? Because whenever someone asks her, "What's your biggest fear?" she'll tell them. It's childbirth.
In a interview for The New York Times' T Magazine, out Monday (Oct. 12), Miranda July and Rihanna talk at length about what exactly Rih Rih fears about the whole process of squirting a human baby out of her womb. But this isn't the only time she's discussed it -- let's look at back at the ANTI singer's fascination with birthing:
May 2010
“I’m really scared of the actual child birth situation, but I do want to be a mother one day,” Rih reportedly told a radio station in 2010. “Even if I have to adopt I want to be a mother.”
December 2014
Even though Rih is a tough badass -- her mantra is "f--k bitches, get money" -- she told Elle that childbirth is her biggest fear.
March 2015
During a junket for "Home," the movie where Rihanna voices a little girl named Tip, a People reporter asked her and co-stars Jim Parsons and Steve Martin about their fears. Rih grimaced as she said, of course, "childbirth."
October 2015
Even though she says she wants a child "so bad … eventually," Rihanna told Vanity Fair that she was scared of -- you guessed it again -- childbirth.
October 2015
As I said before, Rihanna and filmmaker Miranda July pondered the effects of childbirth on vaginas as Rih Googled it:
"'"Phobia of a big vagina." ... "Deep." ... This is awful. I can’t believe I’m typing this in.'
'Wait,' [July] said. 'Deep’s not an issue. It’s wide.'
'Deep is an issue, hello!'
'Huh. Cause I feel like the — I always feel short-vaginaed.'
Rihanna laughed. 'Trust me, if they can’t feel the end, it’s like, Cannonball!'"
