Watch Ingrid Michaelson's Perfectly Gender-Bending 'Girls Chase Boys' Video

Watch Ingrid Michaelson's totally gender bend-y "Girls Chase Boys" video

Ingrid Michaelson's "Girls Chase Boys" video is the Robert Palmer "Addicted To Love" throwback you never knew you needed!

KAYYY, Ingrid Michaelson has legit done it, AGAIN! Last year, she transformed into literally every famous person ever in "Blood Brothers," and now, she's back with a gender-bending video for "Girls Chase Boys," the first single from her new album, Lights Out, due April 15.

And by gender-bending, we mean it includes bros with makeup, vaguely channeling Robert Palmer's iconic 1986 video "Addicted To Love." TRANSLATION: IT'S PERFECT.

At the top of her video, the "Winter Song" collaborator grabs the mic and begins to sing her catchy pop ditty. Only she's not on stage alone -- she's surrounded by a troupe of dudes, rocking some tight ensembles and stark makeup.

Later, the black outfits turn hot pink, and chicks join the group of dudes, dancing behind Ingrid as she sings.

About her new record, Ingrid explains: "The video takes that idea one step further, and attempts to turn stereotypical gender roles on their head. Girls don’t exclusively chase boys. We all know this. We all chase each other and in the end we are all chasing after the same thing: love.”

AMEN, Sista. A-effing-MEN! Now if only we could LOCATE SOME OF THAT LOVE!! (#FindMeOnTinder.)
