As we ready the 5 Seconds Of Summer (imaginary) parade float, here's a bit more need-to-know info about the guys in case you're just tuning in (in which case, CATCH UP!): 5 Seconds Of Summer got their start covering songs on YouTube, which earned them more than 5 million YouTube hits and a hyperactive, hyper-dedicated social media following -- they were one of Tumblr's most reblogged artists of the year for a good reason.

And, it doesn't hurt that One Direction Stans for 5SOS -- the boys spent 2013 opening for One Direction in the U.K., North America, New Zealand, and their Australian home turf.

Get ready to see a whole lot more of these guys in the new year -- now that they're signed to Capitol Records, 5 Seconds Of Summer is working hard on their debut album! And I think it goes without saying that we can't wait to hear it.
