Ariana Grande And Nicki Minaj Work Up A Sweat For Their NSFW VMA Performance
Ariana Grande and Nicki Minaj are video vixens with serious chemistry. Case in point: their slinky performance of "Side to Side" at the 2016 VMAs.
Grande opened the pleasantly-pink performance on a stationary bike, proving that the tiny diva can deliver fire vocals while working out. (When will your faves?) But the drop-mic, kinda NSFW moment happened at the end of the performance when Grande and Minaj had a bit of fun with two male dancers. Honestly, what's better than two divas promoting female pleasure live on the VMA stage? Absolutely nothing.
Since their fire collaboration with Jessie J ("Bang Bang"), the duo have produced two commanding bangers together. Their Pinkprint collaboration, "Get on Your Knees," featured Grande as a doe-eyed vixen and Minaj as an indomitable Queen, while their more recent collab on Grade's third studio album, Dangerous Woman, had both women making reggae-tinged "deals with the Devil."
Grande and Minaj last graced the VMAs stage together at the 2014 VMAs, opening the show with a medley of Grande's "Break Free," Minaj's "Anaconda" (which was sadly anaconda-less), and their collaboration with Jessie J, "Bang Bang."
