This Fashion Week Runway Looks A Lot Different Than The Rest — And That's A Good Thing

Ashley Graham is determined to make all body types accepted by the fashion industry -- and she's been putting in the work. After being featured in Sports Illustrated and giving a TED Talk on body acceptance, she launched her own lingerie line for Addition Elle, which she also happened to model on the runway during New York Fashion Week.

Ashley walked in what she calls her "favorite set," and posted photos to her Instagram with the hastag #IAmSizeSexy. Her collection, Black Orchard, will be available at Addition Elle and Nordstrom stores next month.

The show was arguably one of the most diverse we'll see during fashion week, featuring models with a range of body types. But as Ashley notes, the fight's not over 'til it's over.

"We're not where we need to be yet — but we're definitely making great progress," she told Perez Hilton. "With every new campaign, collection, runway show, magazine cover, and more, we're showing that women's curves are beautiful and need to be represented."

While she isn't wrong, if she keeps doing what she's doing, we might just see the fashion tides turn sooner than we think.
