In "The Maze Runner," the toughest opponents that Thomas (Dylan O'Brien) and the Gladers had to deal with were a band of biomechanical killing machines called Grievers -- which, now that we think about it, were actually pretty dang tough. But in the upcoming sequel "Maze Runner: The Scorch Trials," the group has to deal with an even crueler foe: zombies!

Okay, okay -- in the film they're called Cranks, but they're still pretty close to the brains-eating baddies we see week after week on "The Walking Dead." (And "Fear the Walking Dead," obviously.) So when MTV News sat down with the "Scorch Trials" cast ahead of the film's premiere, we just had to ask: which "Walking Dead" star would the Gladers bring with them to the zombie apocalypse?

The answers, surprisingly, aren't all "Daryl":
