Chris Pine may be famous now for his gritty roles in “Star Trek” and “Jack Ryan: Shadow Recruit,” but he started out as the ultimate rom com dream boat, stealing the heart of Anne Hathaway (and all of us) in “The Princess Diaries 2: Royal Engagement."

His best early role, though, was romancing Lindsay Lohan in “Just My Luck.” Chris started out as the nerdy, awkward guy, and then quickly moved into *oh my goodness* territory. In honor of his 34th birthday today (August 26), let’s look back at all the reasons why Lindsay (and again, all of us) were *pining* for Chris.
