Watch Trevor Noah Prepare To Host ‘The Daily Show’ — With A Little Help From Kanye West

The new host ass-umes his new late night throne in this cheeky new teaser.

Less than two weeks after longtime host Jon Stewart bid #JonVoyage to “The Daily Show,” his successor is beginning to settle in nicely… and quite cheekily.

Comedy Central has released the first introductory promo for Trevor Noah’s new reign as host of the satirical news show, and the 30-second clip touts the comedian’s, um, assets.

Kanye West’s anthemic “Power” soundtracks Noah’s confident stroll to his new late night throne, where he ass-umes the position. But only after the suavely-dressed comedian tends to a little squeaky seat adjusting.

The clip’s tagline reads, “Same chair. Different ass,” but it’s already pretty clear the 31-year-old Noah will bring a fresh perspective to the decades-old show. We’ll see how the new “Daily Show” era kicks off when Noah officially assumes hosting duties on Sept. 28.
