ANAHEIM, California -- All eyes were on director J.J. Abrams during the "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" panel at Disney's D23 Expo on Saturday (August 15).
Joined by the talented cast of "Force Awakens" -- John Boyega, Daisy Ridley, Oscar Isaac, Lupita Nyong'o and Harrison Ford -- Abrams, with a little help from Boyega, revealed the exclusive D23 "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" poster. Designed by legendary artist Drew Struzan, the spectacular poster features Rey (Ridley), Finn (Boyega), Han Solo (Ford, duh) and new "Star Wars" baddie Kylo Ren (Adam Driver).
Outside of Hall 23, Lucasfilm and Disney have a massive "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" costume display on the main showroom floor. Featured in the display are costumes worn by stars Boyega, Ridley and Gwendoline Christie, as the Chrome-plated mega badass trooper Captain Phasma.
Seriously, look at this badassery:
Even our favorite roly-poly droid -- and the breakout star of "The Force Awakens," tbh -- BB-8 made an appearance at D23.
And an army of First Order Stormtroopers:
"Star Wars: The Force Awakens" hits theaters December 18, 2015.
