'Beetlejuice 2' Is Really Real And Winona Ryder Is 'So' Excited

Yep, she said the B-word.

By now, you've definitely heard the rumors of a "Beetlejuice" sequel in the works -- and that many people, including Winona Ryder, are totally down to do one.

Winona told MTV News earlier this year that she's certainly emotionally prepared to return to the role of Lydia, the spiky-banged, strange and unusual girl she brought to life onscreen in 1988.

But emotionally is not the same thing as officially, y'all. Which is why it was so awesome to hear her straight-up confirm that yes -- YES! -- "Beetlejuice 2" is a real thing that is definitely happening... although nobody knows when, exactly.

Ryder spilled the beans on "Late Night with Seth Meyers" last night (August 10), where she looked ready to jump out of her skin with excitement about the project.

"It was very hush hush, top secret," she said, explaining that she couldn't reveal the big news herself until director Tim Burton indirectly gave her the go-ahead. "[Burton] did an on camera interview, and he said, 'Yes! We're doing it! And Winona is going to be in it!' And I was like--"

Note: You'll have to watch the video below to see what Winona Ryder was like, because her delight can't be conveyed in actual words.
