A 'Scream' Soundtrack Is Coming: Get A First Listen Now

Get all the details on the upcoming release.

If you're a fan of the unique music that accompanies every thrilling "Scream" episode, you're in luck: A genre-spanning soundtrack, featuring a diverse lineup of artists who have appeared on the horror series, is available for pre-order now (info here!) and will be available for digital purchase on August 14.

Columbia Records, along with MTV and Dimension TV (the creators of the small screen adaptation), assembled the best and brightest new Columbia recording artists -- including Phoebe Ryan, LIZ, Wet, machineheart, MSMR and George Ezra -- from the show’s action-packed first season. So what can enthusiasts of the show's musical tone expect from the upcoming release?

"[As far as] the overall sound, we have a lot of dark songs in the show, or very sort of powerful songs," music supervisor Andrea von Foerster tells MTV News. "But this isn't a horror movie where you're going to create all dark -- it's not all drama. There is levity, there are fun moments and they're in high school -- so you get a little bit of everything."

Without further ado, here's the track list -- and a first listen! -- straight from the upcoming release. And be sure to keep watching "Scream" every Tuesday at 10/9c!
