The Weeknd Will Perform At The 2015 VMAs And We Can't Feel Our Faces

Tom Cruise broke the news that Abel will perform 'I Can't Feel My Face' for the first time on TV.

The Weeknd is on fire and the Toronto singer will continue to fan the flames when he brings his new hit single, "I Can't Feel My Face," to the 2015 MTV Video Music Awards stage at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles on Sunday, August 30 at 9 p.m. ET.

While we're thrilled about the news -- because this will be the first televised performance of the track -- we're pretty amazed at how the word got out. The Weeknd's performance was completely under wraps before Tom Cruise went and spilled on Twitter on Tuesday (Aug. 4).

Cruise is of course referring to last week's appearance on "The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon," where he lip-synced the Weeknd's latest smash.

"I Can't Feel My Face" will appear on Abel's upcoming August 28 album Beauty Behind the Madness, so this month is shaping up to be a big one for him. He's also nominated for a few Moonmen as well, one in the Best Male Video category for "Alright" and another with Ariana Grande in the Best Collaboration category for "Love Me Harder."

We can't wait!

The 2015 MTV Video Music Awards will air live from L.A.’s Microsoft Theater at 9 p.m. ET, on Sunday, August 30.
