Alamo Drafthouse Really, REALLY Wants You To Shut Up During The Movie
Nothing's more irritating than paying $15 for a movie, only to have to listen to someone talk the whole time and/or stare at a tiny bright screen out of the corner of your eye. People who think it's perfectly OK to talk, text and even just surf the web in a dark movie theater just want to watch the world burn. Literally, everyone can see you on your phone; you're not sneaky.
Instead of using the standard, "Please silence your cell phones now" or "Please don't talk during the movie" approaches most movie theaters take, Alamo Drafthouse does something a little bit more creative. (And by "little bit," we mean A LOT.)
"Listen to me when I'm talking to you, punk. Hang up that dang cell phone." — Alamo Drafthouse.
If you live under a rock like me, then you probably don't know about their 60+ string of "Don't Talk" PSAs. Basically, they get a famous celebrity to ask people to turn off their cell phones. BUT, they all do it in their own hilarious, unique style. We've rounded up some of the best ones for your viewing pleasure — be sure to watch the full videos. It's totally worth it. Trust me.

So, bottom line? Don't make a sound or movement during a movie. Or, bad things will probably happen to you — at least at Alamo Drafthouse.
