'Jurassic World' Is Officially Reopening The Park For A Sequel

Looks like all those dino-deaths can't keep a good amusement park closed.

Good news for fans of insane dinosaur mayhem: "Jurassic World," the third highest grossing movie of all time (as of press time) is officially getting a sequel.

The movie, which probably won't be titled "Jurassic World 2" or (sadly) "Jurassic Universe," will hit theaters from Universal on Friday, June 22, 2018.

Not only that but Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard will also return to star in the movie. No word on Howard's heels, but they did survive the first movie, so...

And if that wasn't enough, Colin Trevorrow (who directed and wrote the "first" one) will return to write the movie, with Derek Connolly. Steven Spielberg and Frank Marshall will be producing, though there's no word yet on who will direct.

Whoever does take it on, you know what we'll be doing on the way to the theater on June 22, right?
