Louis Tomlinson will soon be welcoming the first One Direction baby.

News broke last week that the boy band star is expecting his first child with friend and LA stylist Briana Jungwirth. While we haven't heard from Louis on the subject, we did catch up with 1D friends and former tourmates, 5 Seconds of Summer, who showed nothing for support for the soon-to-be dad.

"I haven't spoken to him yet. I think I'm just letting him simmer, simmer down for a bit," Luke Hemmings told us. "I don't really know too many details about it, but I hope he's happy. I hope it's not too overwhelming for him and I hope he can continue banding."

Ashton Irwin added, "I think childbirth is a beautiful thing, that's about it."

Louis, who was told by Simon Cowell to "man up" after the baby news broke, is still banding with the group who are currently on the U.S. leg of their On The Road Again Tour. It's their first tour without Zayn Malik, who left the group back in March.

"Zayn leaving, that sucked," Michael Clifford said. "But their trooping on and they're still an awesome band."
