This 'Outsiders' Author Is An Even Bigger 'Supernatural' Superfan Than You

Everybody go home. S.E. Hinton is the true SPN fan.

Who knew the author of the fantastic 1967 novel "The Outsiders" was such a "Supernatural" fanatic? Her 34,000 Twitter followers knew, that's for sure. Author S.E. Hinton tweets about SPN at least once a week — usually more. She's a true fan, proudly rewatching episodes over and over.

She has serious withdrawals when SPN is on hiatus for the summer, which goes to show that celebrities really are just like us.

However, most people don't have the power to just up and visit the SPN gang whenever they wish, but whatevs.

Basically, Hinton doesn't play around. She's a strong member of the SPN fandom, visiting the set from time to time to see how her favorite Winchesters and angel are doing.

Even though SPN is more male-driven, there have been several strong female characters who appear on the show from time to time, and Hinton is a big supporter of them.

Plus, she's not afraid to get sassy with the cast members — especially Misha Collins, who plays Castiel.

Recently, Hinton joked that Jared Padalecki's (Sam Winchester) birthday shouldn't be so close to hers. (His is July 19, while hers is July 22.)

Bottom line, Hinton is living every SPN fan's dream. Her commentary about new and old episodes is always entertaining, making the show that much more fun to watch. If you're all about that SPN life, I recommend following S.E. Hinton on Twitter. Trust me, you won't regret it.
