Frankly, that’s an injustice to our movie-watching needs, so thankfully, the comedians are answering our prayers for another dynamic collaboration with their comedy “Sisters.”
The comedy — which was written by “Saturday Night Live” legend Paula Pell and co-stars “SNL” alum Maya Rudolph — stars Poehler and Fey as sisters who decide to throw one last rager at their parents’ house. Or, as Poehler put it, “a high school party thrown by 40-year-olds.”
During an appearance on “The Tonight Show” last night (July 15), Poehler and Fey premiered the first official trailer to tide us over until the film’s Dec. 18 release date. And yes, it looks just as awesome and bonkers as you’re probably expecting.
In addition to gifting us with that “Sisters” sneak peek, the duo also reunited with “Tonight Show” host and their former “SNL” costar, Jimmy Fallon. Together, the three faced off in a hilarious game of “True Confessions,” during which they had to interrogate one another and figure out whether their confessions were lies.
Check out the video to find out if Fey really WAS mistaken for a prostitute in Monaco one time (because we know that’s something you’ve been wondering about).
